HUM COMPBEN E MER

See, often time the charges you see with gibberish labels sound way too confusing, and that’s kinda the case with this “HUM COMPBEN E MER” one, and so many people like you have no idea what it is all about and why it is showing up there in the credit card statement. But if you found yourself a bit confused about it too, then worry not, we’re here to explain things to you, so just keep on reading and let’s see what this gibberish even means, and should you even be concerned about it at all or not. Here we go.

So What Does This Charge Even Mean?

Well, looking at the first part of this charge label, you see, it has something to do with the Humana Insurance company. Yes, we’re talking about that “HUM” part. And for those who don’t know anything about this company yet, well, it is a big company that’s kinda all about health insurance, you know like, medicare for mostly old folks out there.

hen what is this “COMPBEN” part? Oh, well, whatever came up in our research, you see, this part probably means comprehensive benefits, and that’s all. Really? Yes, it is probably all about the full package of insurance stuff that this company offers. And “E MER” might mean employee medical or something close, though it’s not super clear.

So yes, from the looks of it, this charge seems like a regular insurance premium payment. That’s all!

Why’s This Thing Popping Up on My Statement?

Well, if you have read this post from the very start, you’ll understand that it is a regular premium payment for the insurance plan. And if you are a Humana Insurance company customer, then sure enough, it shouldn’t even be bothering you at this point. So yes, if that’s the case, you can just relax and let it go, this isn’t some fishy charge in your case.

It could be that you don’t recognize this charge because previously, it used to be shown as something like “Humana Comprehensive Benefits” and now it is just a shorter version of that. This could very well be the reason why you didn’t understand at first like what this charge is all about. Alright, now you know, and there is nothing to worry about here.

Is This Charge Legit or Some Sneaky Scam? How to Check It Out

Well, that kinda depends. You see, if you ARE a Humana customer, then surely, it isn’t a scam or a fishy charge, it is just the regular premium payment for the insurance plan. That’s all! But let’s say you haven’t signed up for anything like that and you don’t even know any company like this, then sure enough, red flags should go off in your head. This just means that somebody else made that payment or used your credit card to buy the insurance plan from this company.

So what in this case then? Nothing, just let your bank people or credit card company know, and tell them everything about it. They’ll be more than happy to help you out.
